A guided group tour will be enjoyed by all participating members and their guests. Includes an option to try out their flight simulator, without additional cost, for those who wish.

The mandate of this terrific museum is to acquire, document, preserve and maintain, a complete collection of aircraft that were flown by Canadians and the Canadian military services from the beginning of World War II to the present, including other related aviation artifacts and memorabilia of significant historic importance to this period.

1) Attendees drive individually and meet at the museum at 9:30am

The guided tour is from 9:45am to 11:45am. Lunch is in the museum’s Runway Cafe at 11:45am for those who wish to join in, fast food style – not included in admittance price.

In addition to the regular Museum guide, we will have “colour commentary” from Lieutenant Colonel (ret) Wes Allen whose bio includes:

  • Commanding Officer of NORAD long range radar station, St. Margaret NB
  • 30 years flying included NATO air defense & flying T33, CF100, Voodoo 101, T38 supersonic
  • Included training pilots in Texas for Vietnam service
  • Protocol work, providing services while in Canada, & meeting, both the Pope and the Queen (twice)
